I think there isn't any subsidies for SIMGE.
However, for SUSS, there is the Tuition Grant scheme available for PT degree courses only (if I'm not wrong). Results wise, I think for SIMGE shouldn't be a problem. But not sure about SUSS as it's now a localised Uni.
SIM GE you probably can get in with just a poly diploma. SUSS, not sure as they have now a local uni and thus probably has higher requirements. I don't think there are any govt subsidy for SIM GE as they are a distance learning uni (private).
No, it’s highly unlikely, UniSIM transformed to an autonomous university and left the SIM group, changing its name to SUSS. As a result, they are trying to match the entrance requirements to that of NUS/NTU etc.
If any Tom dick can enrol into a distance learning degree and jump into a local uni, many would have done so long ago.
Fun fact: SMU used to belong to the SIM group too before restructing to a autonomous university.
