Hi all

planning to go to suzhou end apr to early may next year. any things regarding suzhou to share? like places to visit etc.

i should be flying to shanghai pudong airport.. not very sure hw to proceed to suzhou from there yet.. anyone any experience pls share.. thanks!

Haven't been to Suzhou but there are the many gardens there to see (man-made).

Just take the high speed rail via Shanghai Hongqiao train station. You can pretty much visit most parts of China via their extensive high speed rail network. West side still in progress and not entirely connected to the east yet (have to change trains and such).

what if i landed at pudong airport? isit far from the hongqiao train station?

From Pudong, you can take the subway to Hongqiao station. Or take the Maglev to Loyang Subway station and onwars to Hongqiao.

You should try the Maglev at least once, it's a different kind of feeling when it turns.

shangtang jie (上塘街) is a good place to walk. not far from Suzhou train station.
