I am switching from nexus 5 to iphone 5 temporary. I noticed that although I have LTE on my nexus, when i switch to iphone 5, i cant receive any 4g/lte signal. Any kind souls can tell me why?

I'm on singtel lte flexi plan (dunno what's the plan name, the 39 bucks plan)

edit:
ah thanks for help. Actually I just found out I got a US model A1428. It is still under warrenty i just checked online.

Question, will i be able to exchange this set with a new local set? still under warrenty

No likely.

AFAIK, iPhone/iPad doesn't have international warranty and I don't think Singapore Apple would warrant it or exchange it to a local set.

Likely that they will help you send back to US for warranty issue and you'll have to pay for shipping, to and from US, and it'll still be a US set.
