Hi, I am with Starhub and using an LG Optimus G Pro.

I have good 4G connection at my office area but I notice whenever I make a call, my connection will ALWAYS switch from 4G to 3G and back to 4G when the call ends.

Is there a reason for this? Has anybody experience the same 'issue'?

Normal. Most of the chipset is like that.

Yo bro, in other words, one cannot just stick to a 4G connection because voice calls will be unable to get through in that case? Assuming we have 4G everywhere.

Not true.

4G in Singapore is not really for voice calls but for Internet access only.

Why?

4G network is a mobile data network therefore voice calls are still currently supported on 3G instead. When a voice call is made or received, 3G/2G signal will be reflected. After the call is completed, 4G smartphone will switch back to 4G based on the availability of 4G network coverage.
