Switching back to iPhone?

i prefer apple map when driving. apple map's arrow is always pointing infront and rotate as u turn. but google map is not. google map hard to tell when to turn left or right ,even there is a icon at top left to tell u to turn where. but still not user friendly. hard to explain here. check out ur iphone in driving mode and u guys will get it.

wireless charging is useless.
when charging, can u take ur phone to sms,games and etc while charging still applies?or u have to stick to the charging pad and play?

i will just hang my phone on the cable where my power socket does not have a table or too high above the ground. speed is faster than wireless charging as well.

unless those companies are giving u a wireless charging pad which is enough to put 3 phones to charge at the same time and does not affect the ccharging speed.

wireless charging is a convenient option, so it's not useless. Most ppl have wired chargers too for the purpose u mentioned. As long as something has a purpose and it works, it's not useless.

Anyway, maybe u should not buy future iphones if it comes with this 'useless' feature.

I've personally downgraded from big screen back to iPhone.
iPhone really is the best, others don't even come close.

I've used before S2-S4, Note 3, HTC One M7, Sony Xperia Z.
Android is easy to use but iPhone is still the best in my opinion.

I've personally downgraded from S3 4.8 inch to iPhone 4S 3.5 inch, Note 3 5.7 inch to iPhone 5S 4 inch. Not a problem.

I'm using MacBook though so iPhone as a phone is really a no brainer.

Google map sucks in real life when surround by buildings, lag badly. Struggle to use the fxcking thing in KL. Driving in circle and keep missing the turn, will NEVER use the shxt again. Just use a Garmin!!!

Anyway, I am going to dump Android for iOS or Jolla Sailfish.

if yr used to a bigger screen, quite hard to switch unless downsize abit to 4.7 or 5 inch.

also, some other phones come with nice features like wireless charging, nfc etc.

these are absent from iphone.

Honestly I love apple products but i also love the 5.5 inch screen size on Samsung. To me its the size and not really an Apple vs Samsung thing. I even tried going to a 5 inch Samsung and couldn't take it. Had to switch back to 5.5 so I know deep down that its only when Apple release their big screen then I have something to consider

I have macbook too. I just don't connect my Samsung to it since I had such a bad experience doing that before and I lost everything on the phone when it was in the middle of an update and died. But putting things onto the SD card is easy and convenient

One thing I know I can't do is downgrade the screen size. I put that down to fat fingers and bad eyesight. I need things bigger

for any product, u must also compare the price and the value it gives.

iphone is the best, but it's also the most expensive. so it better be the best.

as for the Android phones u mentioned,

Samsung- bloatware, laggy, expensive
HTC- lousy cam
Sony- boring design

I've used many phone brands before and my favorite 2 from Android are Nexus 5 and Motorola. Both use stock Android. The user experience is much better. Of course, it cannot beat iphone in every aspect. For eg, it loses out in the camera dept. But do note these phones are almost half the price of the iphone 5s without contract. And for some reason, these phones also don't sell well here, perhaps it's marketing and im not surprised u haven't even tried these 2 phones.

iphone though does not have the best camera. It's Lumia 1020. Simply unbeatable. And Nokia makes good hardware but the phone doesn't sell well cos of the OS.

Anyway, these days, everything is so integrated u can easily switch phones and still get the same tasks done.

google map now supports offline maps if you are not aware. you do not need data to use offline map.

there are also tons of offline maps available. just go to do a search.

After many years with android, recently I back with iPhone as I like it's new UI n the simplicity. Definitely will not say iPhone is the best now, just suits my current requirements. If I have spare cash, I will get myself LG G3 n HTC One (M8) to play but for now, I prefer iPhone. Just hope Apple finds some unique ways to optimise the iPhone battery life like how Sony did

Phone is just for communication, social apps. i don't need an iPhone to do that. Just a little big screen like Note 2 serve my purpose.

For me I just use Garmin's SG/MY GPS app. Though a bit ex but really worth it.

I realized Garmin is garbage once i started using google/apple maps. The keypad is impossibly dumb (why normal keypad when I'm keying in postal code??) and super hard to type to get it right. Supposedly you can but you really can't search by buildings or businesses. Try searching for nex once and I got everything else but. Map updates is super hard. Yes I've Garmin express but it doesn't seem to locate and update the SG maps in Garmin.com.sg. I'm 100% sure Garmin will go the way of compact cameras and CDs.

nah, if there is an option, i will still chose wired charging. unless when comes to the state that all devices ONLY support wireless charging. then i will have to force to adapt to wat it comes with

Unless you want to consider jailbreaking it to get the multitasking feature.

As for flash, most sites use HTML5 and equivalent already.

I'm likely moving back. I was a long-time iPhone user but got really disappointed with the iPhone 5 (actually, I was one of the lucky ones who managed to get it online when they launched at 6pm on whenever). But it looked like I sat on the iPhone 4 and they called the flattened outcome the iPhone 5.

Now on the Note 3. I'm about done with Android and I'm looking forward to travelling back to the Temple of Apple with the 6+ Let's hope I don't get disappointed.. again.

i'm also a note 2 user. I guess it boils down to how u use the phone and what is applicable to you. I'm going back to apple and i can't wait for my 6 plus to come soon! Whatever war does not bothers me.. i just go for what i want
