Switching fibre ISP ?

sounds good! thanks alot. i've been facing ridiculous support from my current RSP and just damn sick of them.

If VQ was cheaper, i would definitely go with them.

I will give you 2 years to find out why others are cheaper. Haha

Having the same issue also, want to switch from Singtel to Starhub...but starhub keeps telling me they need to wait for opennet to do something and they cannot provision their service until opennet makes these changes.

Anyone can advice what's this port 1/2 thing about?

Are both your TP ports used?

If not, your new isp should be able to use one of the port.

A TP has 2 fiber ports. Ur ST fiber has utilized port 1 of the TP. Opennet usually will activate 1st port only. 2nd port is not activated yet due to low resources. So if SH want to use port 2 for fiber, it will nid to ask opennet to activate it b4 u can let them in. This process takes time(min. 20 working days). It took me almost 3mths to switch from ST to VQ(case to case basis).

My advice is dun terminate ur ST fiber until SH is up n ready.

Nope. Only have one TP port used...will feedback to StarHub!

I order online with M1 and activation port 2 is as per my selected schedule. May be I was lucky as I register on 2nd day morning (during COMEX)
