@yusoffb01 Thanks for your prompt reply bro! But restoring from micro sd has to go through iTunes is it? And will it move to whatsapp itself or it will be in another folder?

Totally no chance. Changed from Note 4 to iPhone 6 Plus. Couldn't get all my WhatsApp messages over :( iOS is a very much closed platform it doesn't talk to Android. I try a dozen of ways to get my WhatsApp back messages into my iPhone but it all failed.

Only way to work is using one program which you need to pay to be able to use it for a complete backup and transfer

The SD card method only works for android to android cos the format of the file is totally different between android and iOS:)

Which program is that? And how much do I have to pay for it?

1. You can't use the SD card method because iTunes doesn't have SD card slot.

2. WhatsApp doesn't enable file sharing so you can't drop your backup in.

3. The only way WhatsApp recognise a backup and restore is through iCloud.

4. It's either you jailbreak your phone go into root and drop message.db there or use some other program.

5. I have been using every single iPhone since 2G and used both Note 2 and Note 4 as well. I know how they work pretty well.
