Singtel called me today to ask me why I switched to m1.

I told them it was cuz they sucked. Their plans are more ex than m1's equivalent data plans.

M1 also give $150-200 port over voucher, while Singtel only offered $50 retention voucher

My experience is for Singtel, very hard to get loyalty voucher. So this time, I will port over to other telco. And their package is worse than the others. And I think all the telco signal coverage are similar since my family members some use M1 and Starhub.

ppl go for their plan benefits, if everything/everybody base on retail and service, they are out of the game.
except those loyalty ppl of "earlier" generation.
but in user perspective i would still say their data connection is better but subject to location too

At least starhub sent you $50, M1 is $25 for 5 years onwards, got the horror of my life 2 days ago ask me to pay $710 for ip7 plus 128 on I-max plan which was supposed to be $385 reward for paying promptly for the past years with no reminder and I don't even have accounts with other telco or outstanding kind of black listing me :( I was recontracting for the 4th time by the way

hi all guys here, currently on singtel postpaid, contract just finished ... then was thinking if i should port over to m1 to enjoy the iphone discount ... but now like no stock then if i dont do smth to my singtel plan as it was on discounted rate, after contract will it be more expensive for the monthly bill. can anyone advise?

If i convert my currently singtel to sim only plan on singtel, then can i still port over to m1 to enjoy the $150/$200 port in discount?

You can only get the $150/$200 port in discount if you sign up for m1 combo plans and not their sim-only plan...So it is a good way to change to singtel sim-only before porting to m1 and sign up for their combo plans to get the port in discount...

Read my post...You can port in first as individual, get the port in discount...After that change to CIS... Simple as that... Don't know why people like to make things so complicated...

You subscribe to normal plan after that change it to CIS...

I am an existing M1 subscriber of the Public Plan, can I convert to Corporate Plan?
Yes, you can.

https://www.m1.com.sg/Business/FAQ/General/M1CIS

So either way, you can port to M1 and get $150-200 voucher and enjoy CIS...

If you port from Singtel sim-only plan to m1 sim-only plan, you will not get port in discount...If you port from Singtel sim-only to M1 post paid plan, you will get $150-200...Which part of it is difficult to understand?

Call 1622 and ask how you can convert from normal m1 plan to CIS...if they tell you that you cannot convert, show them the website...
