Hi,

I have a term life policy now and only 28 year old.

And recently I saw aviva got promotion for myprotector level plus.

Is it recommended for term life policy holders to switch to cheaper term life with similar policy terms?

Since there is no surrender value anyway or investment return, I think it is good to look out for cheaper alternative and switch.

At my age, if i switch got no need to go medical checkups.

What do u guys insurance expert think?

I think Aviva promotion is for term plans of 1 million and up.

If you need that much and have no medical issues to declare then can switch.

But I recommend you terminate you existing one only when Aviva proposal is approved.

When I took 1M plan in Nov last year, they asked for lots of medical history and related questions. :)
