What kind of photoshoot is it? What type of scenery are you hoping to include? I just had my pre-wedding shoot on a beach an hour south of Sydney.

sadly i have already gotten my tickets from scoot its 260 to and fro Sydney, i think will just be around sydney area maybe just follow your first plan

For 260, I would just book it without hesitation too.

How many of you are travelling? The airport link train is not cheap. If you're not travelling by yourself, consider getting a cab or uber instead. There are cheaper ways to get out of the airport as well, but takes more time, have transfers, and not as easy. However, an opal card can be useful, especially on the day when you go to the Blue Mountains - currently, it's $2.50 all day Sunday network ride, so you can get all the way to the Blue Mountains for that super low cost on 4 Dec. As a comparison, riding the bus 1 stop on a normal day during off-peak hours would already cost you $2.10.

Not sure if you've done rock climbing before, but rarely would anyone be able to last the entire day unless they know what they're doing. Anyhow, The Grounds of Alexandria is just 15 mins walk away, so grab some food there when you run out of energy.

Also, on day 4, I'm not sure when you're planning to visit the fish market. It opens very early in the morning, and starts to wind down after lunch. If you're planning to visit after the walk, you might find the place locked up and empty.

And in the Blue Mountains, it doesn't sound like your itinerary require the use of the very expensive Explorer bus. Bus 686 will take you from the station to Echo Point (although you might want to walk to the hostel first). You can catch bus 686 again to Scenic World, but you can also hike along the cliff top for most of the way (it's an easy-medium walk with few steps). The same bus can then take you back to Katoomba station, at which point, you can catch the train to Leura, or it's a 30 mins walk if there's a long wait for the next train. You might also be lucky enough to run across bus 685/695 at Katoomba station. It will take you to Leura, but there are only a few departures each day. The time table is here. That will cost you a lot less than $44.

If you aren't carrying large check-in luggage, you can get bus 400 to a nearby train station (Mascot would be best). That way, you can avoid paying the extortionate airport link charges.

For Blue Mountains, let's see what other places you're planning to go to first. $44 is still some pretty serious money for a bus that doesn't go very far.

Since you have 2 days, you can do one at Blue Mountains and one at the beach.

In the Blue Mountains, Lincoln's Rock is quite popular for wedding photos, although it was closed last year and I'm not sure if it has reopened.

I was thinking you would sign up to a package from SG and flying the crew down. In Australia, things are done very differently (well, the westerners, at least). It's a much more casual affair - bring your own clothes (you only need 1 set), and they can get it all done in 1 location in about an hour or 2. It's nothing like the multiple settings/costumes production you would see in SG.

Best to go to Glenbrook and Wentworth Falls on day 5 when you're driving up. You can go to Scenic World on day 6 before heading to Blackheath. So it looks something like this:

Govetts Leap to the hunter is roughly 3.5 hours drive, assuming they have put out the currently ongoing bushfire. It can be done if you have an early start, get Scenic World ticked off and have a quick look around at Blackheath. Grab lunch, and then drive on. You should reach the hunter by dinner time, when you can check-in to the hotel, eat, and sleep. It's a long day 6 but this allows you to visit more wineries, and perhaps have a stroll at the Hunter Valley Gardens (admission fee applies).

Alternatively, you can stay in the suburbs of Sydney, but do check reviews as some can be quite dodgy. Although there are some bigger chain hotels around Parramatta, which itself has a large Westfield mall and plenty of restaurants as well. It's more than adequate if you choose to have an overnight pit stop.

You won't need to leave the hunter valley till about 5pm on day 7. There are street lights and plenty of traffic when you get closer to Sydney, so you won't need to worry about it getting dark. Although at that timing, dinner might be a little difficult.

The airport has a few new hotels, that might be worth considering but there's nothing to see/do/eat there. Apart from that, staying in the city might be the best bet (but note that there is a toll on the harbour bridge/tunnel heading into the city - detours are available but will take a lot of time).

If your plane departs at 10am, then you would need to be at the airport around 8am. Note that this is the peak hour for the airport, and there can be some traffic jam getting into the airport so allow extra time.

You'll definitely die of boredom if you spend another 7 days in Sydney.

With this amount of time, you can consider doing a road trip, from Sydney to Melbourne or Gold Coast/Brisbane. Or you can fly to another city and explore it properly. There are tons of options.

I find most Singaporeans would call Melbourne their favourite Australian city. It's also only 1-ish hour flight away (or 10 hours drive), which makes it a great destination to add on to Sydney. The length of the current Melbourne thread versus this thread pretty much says it all.
