Syfe - transfer $ misleading and confusing

just started Syfe, and wanted to try transfer $ to syfe, need to put bank account number and also own reference number in reference field.

my BOC bank transfer doesnt have reference field...
tried DBS also...no reference field...

then realised can put in comment field..

tried transfer the $, wanted to upload screenshot of transfer in Syfe app, but can only choose document and not my picture folder (I am on iphone).

the transfer of $ into syfe is so confusing and badly designed.

I know referral bonus is by first deposit amount (eg, 1k get $10, 10k get $50, 20k get $100), if I myself find it confusing, i am sure most people will feel the same and will not transfer big sum and try maybe minimum but that would defict the purpose totally..

Just transferred my 2nd 1k after 1 week, but this 1k seems to be missing. no email, no indication that I have transferred and pending confirmation.

I've always used DBS. If I transfer in the morning, they'll usually send me an email around 10am-11am acknowledging it.

If I'm not wrong, I just have to input the amount and source account details once I've transferred. I've never sent in a screenshot.

Coming from Syfe, Endowus was confusing for me, because depositing and investing were two different steps.

I use Paynow to UEN via DBS app, never have issues before.

reference code just key in under 'Bill reference no.'

I have never sent screenshot before, funds will get reflected 1 to 2 working days later - which is reasonable since they did state this on their app/website.

I DCA every sunday nite to my syfe account for 1 year +
Never experience what you mentioned. (Mine is OCBC)
I tried transfer between portfolio, withdraw from portfolio all no issue.

I've done ad hoc transfers & regular RSP transfer into Syfe from DBS & UOB with no issues whatsoever. The one time I had sent a screenshot was because I had forgotten to key in the reference number (my fault). I'm sorry but this sounds more like a user error to me.

ok, so seems like everyone is doing this way:
1) no need to submit screenshot
2) just transfer in and close eye..wait 2 days for syfe to reflect the new deposit

If you transfer before 11am, you should get an email same day. But yes, the balance will only update maybe 2 days later.

hi TS, so far my syfe has been quite smooth.

i am using dbs to transfer money, through paynow.
the paynow for syfe will automatically shows the UEN after i do initial setup. then whenever i do paynow transfer, i just input the reference number that syfe need me to include for particular portfolio.
i never done any screenshot so far. just include the amount im transferring and im done. they will receive money in few days time.

I use paynow through UOB and the funds are confirmed within 30mins even during non office hours

If transferring beyond Paynow limits, will need to use ibanking and will about a day or less for the funds to be reflected in Syfe
