syncing on different computers

i have two computers, one PC and one Macbook Air. Before i updated itunes to this latest version, i could seamlessly connect to either of the two on 7 of my iOS devices and transfer whatever media without any hassle. Then just now, i tried to upload songs on my 4S on my Macbook Air and some error came out saying that this iPhone is currently synced to "USER-PC" and would result to wipe all the data if i were to check the box to manually manage my media. I did the same on my PC and this same crappy error came out. I can't remember which one is the "USER-PC". this is extremely retarded.

Anyone could help?
