Synology DS-214+ degrade issue

Hi All,

Does anyone facing Synology HDD degrade problem?
My DS-214+ is facing degrade issue not once but 4 times within 2 months.
Is it really HDD bad sector issue or Synology have problem using WD red 4TB hdd?
Can anyone share?

Most likely a HDD issue. Did you scan the drive for bad sectors?
Also, do you happen to have power outages that affect the NAS?

Dont waste money on red. More expensive and not compatible with Synology.
