That is the difference between Republican and Democrats. Probably 10 years back, this war could have started. President Obama seeking for Congress support? Making numbers of phone calls? These are all politics. War needs money. So where does all the money comes from. From US alone? Just look at history and the current US economic, they won’t just act without enough support from the others. Obama knows how to get things around. Congress was the one who cut military spending. Definitely, Obama wants their support especially Boehner. Looking at all these plus the support that Obama is going to get, the war should be quick and fast unlike the one with Iraq if it kick off.
