Hi guys,

Just bot gta5 and was playing for few hrs and bsod.
Update gpu driver but bsod happen again but this time, the pc boots up but no signal to monitor.
Took out gpu and use integrated mobo was able to display.
So just want to confirm whether gpu really defective b4 rma, so i plucked in and was able to display. Thought everything was ok and just power down.
But when power back up again later no display. This time even onboard video also cannot display after plugging out the gpu.
Tried unplugged cmos batt, jumper reset, unplugged all hdd/dvd except os ssd but still fail.
Did the gpu kill the mobo? or is it psu degraded?

Thanks for reading the long story. My sys specs are on the right. Appreciate any comments

u were right, 1 of the ram module is causing the boot up issue.
after remove pc were able to boot up properly with the gpu.

guess i will have to replace the ram module.
another i noticed is my cpu temp is 70 deg upon cold boot. could these be the cause when running with load, the temp got too high & bsod?

At idle state, your CPU temp should below 50°C. The thermal paste maybe dried up.

if u haven't, try cleaning BOTH ram sticks' golden contact region with soft eraser. if works, safe 1 trip to distro rma ctr...

as for cpu temp, i dunno so see others' advice.
