T61 wireless card

I tried to change the T61 Artheros wireless G card with an Intel wireless N card but on boot up got a message:

"An unauthorise wireless card is detected. Power off and replace ..........."

Is there any way for me to change the card?

For Thinkpad, you need wireless card that is build for Thinkpad. I have a spare T61 Intel wireless card. PM me if need.

Let me know if your wireless card is full size or half size type.
