Yeah, would recommend the fonepad as well. Price wise it seems to offer a good balance between China crap and branded performance.

Some of china phablet / tablet brand actually quite descent and even can consider as good/value for money (Ramos, Hyundai, Cube, Pipo, Ainol, Teamgee, teclast)

I think everybody also know that their QC is not as good compare to Samsung or iPad but hey their price is so damn low :s22:

We are talking about half price compare to those big western/taiwan brand.

Kindle, Tab2 and Nook... its like comparing apples with oranges. Kindle is solely for reading purposes and i must say its an amazing device. Feels like reading a real time book but better. No eye strain at all. Cool cozy feel. A treat for the eyes of readers.
As far as Tab2 is concerned i m impressed by its amazing design. Better than ipad in many ways. Lacks in display but not so much. Excellent processor.

Tats much more costly?

TS state budget <400. Kindle and nook I no idea.. tab 2 3g around 399 iirc... some places cheaper. Fonepad srp now at 369.. so in terms of pricing.. good buy.. new model higher chance of update as mentioned by bro kennyboy in other thread..

I was going through a study by which the product life cycle has dropped from 3-5 years to merely 3-6 months.
