Anyone can recommend a good steady monitor mount for me.

budget? I think if you want cheaper ones like those generic no brand ones would cost roughly $40 - $50 maybe?

If you want those ergotech one roughly $100+ and even $200+

Assuming you're talking standard PC monitor sizes of like 27" and below.

i bought a chinese brand double arm desktop mount for 150+. a single arm cost about 100 bucks. it's from a local distributor.. let me try to recall the brand and i;'ll share it with you.

Thanks all for your replies and help.

My budget around 100 liddat. Intend to mount my current LG monitor, but it doesnt weigh anymore than a standard 24-27 inch monitor.

Cant resort to a pivot stand as I intend to mount on a rather shallow table. I intend to bring it forward and push it away as when needed.

Another thing is the mount needs to have at least 2 joints, as it will be clamped on the end of the table I will be sitting.

The ergotron LX seen on the vfzone post fits my bill perfectly, but price abit steep. Got any other brands to suggest?

Carousell has this seller of generic mounts. Search "desktop mount", roughly $50.

If ur monitor weight less than 6kg then those cheap monitor mount like NB monitor arm( China brand ) will do fine. Ergotron would be better if u're using heavy monitor that's weight more than 6kg. Saw someone selling NB at $59 for single arm at carousell.

i have 2 different kind of arm...the north bayu one cost about 70 at lazada after some discount..another one is i bought from qoo10 for about 80 after some discount it have 2 usb 3 port.

after mounting.

do take note of of one thing.the north bayu arm does not come with spacer so some monitor harder to mount..but not a problem since u can buy those at diy shop.For example the north bayu is able to mount my benq 144hz monitor easily cause the 100x100vesa mount is thicker where else i have to insert spacers for my qnix 24inch 2560x1440....as for the brand i bought with qoo10 came with all the spacers and it make it able to mount both easily without having buying anything thing for diy shop.
