Hi All,

I would like to spend one day in Taichung (Nov).
Below is my plan. Is it too rush?

- HSR from Taipei to Taichung in the morning
- Arrived in Taichung and check in to hotel near Feng Jia Night Market
- Head to Carton King Creativity Park followed by Lavender Cottage
- End the night at Feng Jia Night Market

Was wondering is it possible to squeeze in Yi Zhong?

what you planned to do at yizhong? Been to yizhong, there big department stores around the areas. For me, was there for the night market. To be honest, same same like Fengjia but Fengjia bigger in term of night market from my point of view. So if you already going to Fengjia, no need to go yizhong unless you have something special to do there. Fengjia day time nothing much. Never been to Carton King in taichung or lavender cottage so no comment. Been to Carton King at Cingjing, nothing much to shout about for me.

by the way if you going to the carton king just outside taichung city, nearby this carton king are some nice desserts (like the black ball in singapore), that place is 大坑圓環, can go try since already there if you like this kind of desserts.

If you are going with some female companion, skipping yizhong is really a good idea or if you are a female then going yizhong is better than fengjia for you.

Personal experience, girls have more stuff to shop at yizhong although fengjia is a lot bigger.

For a guy, i think yizhong is not bad too. Got more options.
Fengjia is too touristy.
Since your place of stay is at fengjia, means you can do yizhong then fengjia to round it off.

Long sia.
Coz taichung lots of traffic lights. I think abt 30 mins.

From the tc train stn to fjnm by bus will take about an hour. I've done that. Traffic is really bad there.
