Taipei to Cingjing

Planning my itinerary and have some questions.

a) if i book a driver to drive us from Taipei to Cingjing minsu and plan to spend the whole day touring the nearby attraction (green green grassland, small swiss garden, carton king).
What time must i set off and how long is the journey.
As i intend to spend only one night at the minsu, is it too rush, enough time for the attractions?

b) Next day from Cingjing to Sun Moon Lake/Formosan Village, end the night at taichung hotel.
What time must i set off, is it too rush, enough time for the 2 attraction.

You'll reach there around noon time if you leave in the morning. Probably enough time to cover all 3 if you hurry. carton king is very small, won't need a lot of time.

Think i change to taipei - taichung. Next day taichung to cingjing.
Any recommendation on the way from taipei to taichung, can stop by anywhere.
Anything i can do in taichung?

Nothing much in Taichung except the Fengjia NM, not worth spending a day there if you have limited time.

Cingjing is very small only, green green grassland can cover in 2 hrs. Swiss garden maybe 1 hr and carton king 30 mins. If u go from taipei in the morning, u can cover everything before night fall and enjoy ur night at the minsu, nothing to do at night.

CJ to SML is very near, if u have a driver, sure can cover that in 1 day, then evening reach taichung can go Fengjia.

taichung has a few places of interests for tourist, but traveling is a pain because no mrt. rainbow village, carton box, lavender cottage, etc.

if u r into shopping and eating, can visit yizhong street in the afternoon and fjnm at night. then next day go up cingjing, but can visit 18c chocolate factory to buy some chocolates and puli brewery to try some wines first.

Thinking to plan 1 day go Cingjing from Taichung.

u are landing in tpe or ks?
yes u can go in the morning then come back at evening..

4 days 3 nights is enough for Taichung, but one day is not enough and tired for Cingjin.
It takes about 2.5(from Taichung Raiway Station)~2H(from HSR Taichung Station)
I would suggest start your trip after lunch and stay one night at Cingjin. Join the Hehuansan sunrise tour and come back after breakfast.
The other days is enough for Taichung attractions.

Wa okay. How many days in Taichung is enough?

if u really dont want to stay in cj for a night..
can if u are taking the early scoot flight...
land at tpe at 5.30am
if getting simcard then about 8.15 then leave take U bus to hsr reach tc about 10am
then leave ur bags at ur tc hotel.
then take cab up cj maybe able to reach around 12+
then play till about 7-8pm, reach fj nm about 10pm..

Thanks everyone for your inputs. Probably I'm going to skip cinjing as I will be heading to Alishan instead.
