How to go to taipingshan?
Any recommendation for driver or can go with public transport?

Public bus (Kuo-Kuang) is only Saturdays and Sundays, 2h30 mins from Yilan. Leaving 08:30 and return 15:30? (I have too few posts to be allowed to link to their website, kingbus com tw.)

I am considering renting a scooter, how are the roads in early May? I guess there is not much traffic.
