Taiwan (7D/6N Iten)

Hi all

Have been reading and doing lots of research on what would be those best places to visit during my visit to Taiwan on this coming November 2013. This would be a 7D/6N trip.

Till now, I am a bit blur and also very quite confused on my iten. Cause, I will depart from Singapore to Taipei on the 5th Nov and will reach Taipei airport (Tao Yuan INt Airport) And from there I am planning to take a cab driver or a speed train to Taipei (in which this would be my hotel stay)?

After which I am thinking if anyone would advice if there is any recommended places to go while I am in Taiwan.

I have read that those place like:

Natural Scenery

Sun Moon Lake
Whale Cave
Yehliu
Yushan (mountain)
Yangmingshan

Would be quite far away from Taipei right? If yes then I would need to stay over night in those place? or I would just get driver to drive me to those place? Set off early in the morning and then he will be sending me back to the hotel during evening time?


Also is there anyone could help to recommend any of these?

Appreciate that if there is some experience travelers which can guide me on my this 7D/6N trip to Taiwan and please just list out some of those attractions which I might missed out.

Pick out those attractions which you are keen and sort them into their respective county. Plan around 2-3 days for each county for you to finish visiting the attractions.

You will need to stay overnight outside Taipei if you want to travel out of Taipei because I doubt there is any driver who is willing to drive you all the way out to Kaohsiung or Hualien and drive you back to Taipei in the evening.

6 nights the most I will go 3-4 places.

If only 7 days I said go few parts will do like maybe 1st timer Taipei or another part will do.. Don't go to so many parts u will be rushing and won't have enough time to spend on each place..

7D6N??

1st timer just stick to Taipei..At most one other county like Taichung(Not gonna see much anyway) or Hualien..Forget about Alishan since no seasonal event in Nov..

Yehliu + Nanya + Pingxi Line + Jinguashi + Jiufen + Keelung can take up almost 2 days already..

My advice for 1st time, dont be so ambitious..

i feel that you should just stick to one/ two area for this trip so that you dun waste time on transport.... i did a 7 day 6 night trip to taipei and jiufen last june and will be planning another one to taichung this june.... you can check out my route of travel... =)....
