Day 1 Taichung - SATURDAY 3/8/2013
6.30am Tao yuan airport - da ge da 3G data sim card at a counter in Terminal 2 of taoyuan airport
7.00am UBus (統聯客運) provides direct bus service to Taichung every 30 minutes. NT$240 per person. About 2.5 - 3 hours.
9.00am Taichung Bus station
9.30am Check in hotel
10.00am Xinshe castle, Moncoeur, Dong dong fen yuan , Dong hai university
7.00pm Feng jia night market

Day 2 Taichung- SUNDAY 4/8/2013
10.30am Jing ming yi jie - Breakfast @ tea street
European style shopping district
Take free shuttle bus from TSR Taichung station to Pacific sogo departmental store
15 mins walk
By bus take*Taichung Keyun*(台中汽車客運公司), bus numbers 27, 70, 88, 103, 106, 146, and 147 all stop near Jingming 1st Street.
2.00pm Yi zhong jie , Yi zhong night market
Shopping

9.00pm Feng yuan miao dong night market
1.00am Hotel rest

Day 3 Taipei- MONDAY 5/8/2013
10.30am HSR back to taipei
12.30pm Check in hotel - VIA hotel

there is a Taiwan haoxing bus at danshui interchange but timing is abt 1hr per trip. I suggest u tak pte cab


u can forget about all the below, there is not enough time
1.30pm Shi Fen
From Taipei, you can take the railway to get to Shifen. First, you buy the railway ticket from Taipei Main Station to Ruifang (瑞芳)Railway Station. Then, from Ruifang (瑞芳) buy ticket to Shifen (十分) Station.
Put lantern + Water fall ( Go see if got extra time ) + Write wishes on bamboo (JINGTONG STREET)
3.30pm Depart for Jiu Fen's Ji Shan Street (基山街)
(Transport) Take MRT to Taipei Main Underground Station. Change to RuiFang Train Station (about 40mins). Alight and go to the bus-stop infront of Wellcome for the bus. Take bus 1062/825 or 827 to go Jiufen Old Street. Pay cash NT15. Alight at the bustop before 7-11, opposite Starbucks
(Details) Walk into the Alley beside 7-11. There will be a number of shops to buy back. Walk further in to where one HongKong movie was being shot at.
(Food) Taiyang Bing, Pineapple cake, Tea Plum, San Shu Gong Muah Chee, Grilled Sotong, Lai Ah Po Yam Ball (a dessert), Big Baseball Fishball
Train back to hotel at around 6.30pm
7.30pm Wu fen pu
Dinner at famous Ru Rou fan place
Take rail way back to Taipei main station first
b. Juifen (by bus 1013 or 1062) to Rueifang Station, then by train to Songsan station.
After which Rao he Night market

10.00pm Can go Shi lin if still early Shi lin ye shi close at 1.00am
or shi da ye shi for FOOD!
How to get to Shida Night Market: Alight at Taipower Building Station Exit 3. Walk for about 5-10mins before reaching the night market.

Day 4 Taipei- TUESDAY 6/8/2013

From Beitou MRT station transfer to Xinbeitou station
5.30pm MRT to Danshui station
approx 20-25mins trip, cost NTD$40/pax
Danshui > Yurenmatou - Love bridge how to go ?
walk toward the riverbanks n take ferry over
Need to walk back to the MRT station to hop on Bus Red 26, 836 or 837.

9.00pm Shi lin ye shi

For Day 3 Monday, wufenpu is open only for wholesale IIRC. I would suggest you end your day at Keelung Night Market.

For Day 4, from Danshui to Fisherman's Wharf, you can take bus from Danshui bus station (located near MRT).

For day 5, I tried Hello Kitty Sweets and I don't really like the food. The food is expensive and not really tasty. You are paying more for the experience there. If you want to buy sun biscuit, pineapple tarts and etc, you can buy online at Chia Te website and have them deliver to your hotel. You can also get it in Jiufen from Li Yi.

For Day 6, schedule your shopping at wufenpu, follow by Raohe night market. If you have time, drop by shida night market for second round shopping. Shida night market has toned down and imo, the food stalls there are quite limited.
