Taiwan 9 days - Need help!

Hi guys.

Anyone able to advise if the following itinerary for oct/nov period is do-able?

Option 1

Taoyuan - CJ (1 night)
CJ - Hualien (1 night)
Hualien - TC (2 nights)
TC - Taipei ( 5 nights)

OR

Option 2

Taoyuan - TC (1 night)
TC - CJ (1 night)
CJ - TC (1 night)
TC - Taipei (6 nights)

*Option2 so i can put those big luggage with hostel/hotel so no need carry up to CJ. Is it advisable?

For CJ, I am planning to book a night at Misty Villa.

I am travelling with my mom, wonder if Hualien is too taxing for her.

i guess its depends on yr mode of transport during the trip.
will suggest probably taoyuan>taichung>cingjing>hualien>taipei
