i planning to go taiwan during july. i planning to visit taipei, cingjing and hualien.

taipei>cingjing>hualien>taipei

or

taipei>hualien>cingjing>taipei

i know that can take train from taipei to hualien and bus from taipei to cingjing. but how to get to cingjing>hualien or hualien>cingjing ? isit hiring driver the only way ? any driver to recommend ?

Hiring driver is the only way for Cingjing to Hualien or vice-versa..

I recommend(If flight land early morning), Cingjing, Hualien then end the last few days at Taipei..That's where most of the shopping is done and also nearer to where the airport is.

there is only one bus from cingjing to hualien... and its a freaking long ride... miss it and you have to wait next day...

either u hire driver or bus back to taichung- 100 mins, then HSR 1 hr =/- to taipei and then railway to hualien about 2 to 3 hours

my flight will arrive at taoyuan about 1145am, i plan to stay at taipei for first two days at least, then go hualien on the third day early in the morning. i plan to stay at hualien for one day to visit tarok gorge and etc. and the next day go cingjing for a day or two, then head back to taipei.

or go cingjing on third day early in the morning. then stay at day or two then go to hualien then head back to taipei.

which is the better option ?

and from what i read if cingjing>hualien or hualien>congaing must drive by hehuanshan is the shorter route ? any driver recommendation for cingjing>hualien ?

I'm going to taizhong-cingjing-hualien to visit taroko gorge with my parnter, per pax abt 900 or is hiring a driver much worth it? but what i know is for a 8hr driver for 2pax is about 4500twn at least?

I been heading either Hualien to Hehuashan --> Cing Jing --> Taizhong --> Taipei or Taizhong --> CingJing --> Hehuanshan Hualien --> Taipei

Cingjing to hualien takes more than that time. He should be referring to Taichung HSR to Cingjing.
