Hey guys, I'm currently looking for a mechanical keyboard and it just so happens that I'm going to taiwan soon :s12: Just wana ask if anyone around here have any experience of buying ducky/filco keyboards there.

Is it cheaper? Where did you go to buy it? Need bargain or not (I'm quite bad at bargaining) haha

Ducky warranty is not international. Unless its significantly cheaper or limited edition not worth it imho.

I've read that they sell Filco there as well, but not as common as duckys.

Sad, I thought maybe it would have been like at least $50 cheaper, maybe I'll just get it in Singapore then

Not close to cheap. Was at taipei local sls today.

The pricing for both is the same pricing as sg. Wasted a trip over.

my ducky shine 3 has 2 blown led in less than a 6 months :(

should've went corsair!

But can RMA right? Mine 1year and still all perfect. At least Ur still under warranty. Personally I prefer k70 the space between keys like wider.

Haha really I'm quite mechanical keyboard noob. Currently I'm using a ducky with red switches my friend sold me. I'm not sure which version. Shine 2 I think? I think they feel great compared to my old rubber dome keyboard. However my number 4 key is starting to get insensitive so I'm just scouting around. Including this year the keyboard should be 5 years old already =D

I really really want the corsair k70 rgb. But its so expensive haha, but I've been reading that the build quality is top notch. Just that the software still got some bugs like lights freezing and stuff whenever u launch steam or full screen applications something like that. Also, some users reported increased boot/shutdown timings. Corsair says that they are releasing a huge patch soon, but its currently in close beta. I'm monitoring it closely!

But sadly, they dont do blue switches anymore on the rgb keyboards

RGB is nice to have but after a few weeks/months, you'd probably stick to a certain color.

Ducky no 1 to 1 for led spoil sia. Shadow84 can say his experience from them.

Can only re solder.

2 led lights gone in a span of 4-5months for his shine 3.
