I have some of questions here:

1) Does Jiufen old street open on 1 Jan?
2) Is it convenient to travel to KeeLung from Jiufen old street? Need to seek guidance on how to get there.
3) Which way is more advisable, from Danshui to Yangmingshan, or Taipei city to Yangmingshan. In terms of travel time.

Thanks.

Danshui is to TW's extreme North, while i will say YMS is at middle-ish.

For practicality purpose, would suggest TP > YMS > Danshui for a day's trip.

YMS you will probably enjoy it better during the day, whilst Danshui is more for late afternoon @ Lover's Bridge till sunset, and at night for the NM.

As I will be staying at Danshui after Taipei city, so I am thinking to go YMS while I am in Taipei city or during my stay in Danshui.
