U use Singapore card buy overseas, rates sure sucks ma. And moreover most hate to comprehend in Chinese characters. Thus prefer to pay for the service.

Just like you can book thru an agent and go thru yourself for holidays, sometimes, you will prefer an agent to do the job.

It works the same as what u did in S'pore.
You can register a taiwan groupon account but however for payment wise, they are not accepting foreign credit card.
They only accept local cards via ATM transfer, direct deposit or local credit card.

Note: There will be NT$15 charges from the bank. So total amount you need to pay will need to add another NT15.

Only local taiwan credit card can be use, so my card also cannot be used

For the NT$15 is using webATM to make payment.
Transaction of the bank e-receipt (inclding the NT$15) can be send to you via email.

For the transaction of the groupon, u need to register an account with groupon taiwan.

i purchase before on my own, using sg cc. the only hiccup is they need a local number to send the verification number but that was 1 year ago.
