Hi,

Can anyone advise if April is a good month to go Taiwan? Read that the weather is not too hot but can expect some rain.

TIA!:)

Planning to go in mid april, guess the weather look good then! but the air tickets are still kind of above my budget, hopefully they still have some really good promotion coming up. haha. I love Taiwan!

mid to end may will it be hot?

Depends on the location. At high altitudes (e.g. Hehuanshan, Alishan, Cingjing), the weather may still be cooling. In the cities, the weather can be really hot and humid, and it is quite similar to the weather in Singapore. It will also rain quite frequently, depending on the weather pattern.

I went 1 april before. Nice weather, no need warm clothings at all. No rain too, but this is subjective.

Seems like the better weather to go in from Nov to April? Cause May have on and off rain, then after that to oct wil lbe the summer months with possibility of Typhoon? Say is only to go there for sight seeing n the food..not for aby specific flowers that might be in season..

visited taiwan last april during the 2nd week, it didn't rain much while we were there, until the last few days (drizzle only).

Locals tell me march is the best time though, because it's the blossoming period for a lot of flowers depending on the region and exact week you visit.
