Yangmingshan national park to breathe some clean air.
- Xiaoyoukeng to see spectacular gas pissing from the ground
- Qintiangang to experience highland grassland
- Lengshuikeng to soak legs or use public bath free
- a couple of other spots on YMS park.

Can access yangmingshan by bus from Jiantan MRT bus stop or Uber. Get an Easycard from 7-eleven to use on public transport.

Shifen, Jiufen, Yehliu

Shifen, jiufen and yehliu are great places to visit in Taiwan. I went there just last month and because the places were quite out of the way, I highly recommend you to book a charter tour there.

I booked mine from KKday and we were brought to classic tourist attractions like the Yin Yang Sea and Golden Waterfall etc.

This was the tour I went on. I highly recommend KKday as my overall experience with them was awesome
