was wondering how much are the SIM card over there?

will it be better to get a wifi dongle from Changi Recommends? at $29 for 6 days?

I use dataroaming.
Limited deta access, but good enough.
Since wifi are available at most places, should be all good.

Tw sim card can use for Taichung and Taipei.
Changi recommend quite expensive, unless you go in group of 4-8 person.

From qoo10:
Can try this fareastone sim card, quite fast...
$14, if u use qoo10 coupon, spend $50 disc $10 (can mix with other things too)
After disc is $11.20
5 days sim card, with no calling time

There are other sellers, but find them not as cheap as this one.
however, if u need calling , can buy from klook.
is cheaper than buying from qoo10

Klook:
Buy from klook is $13.39
5 days - data + 50twd calling time ...
sometimes they have 5% discount code ...

thank all for the quick replies!

i'm actually travelling with my gf so was thinking we could share the dongle and split the cost of 29 by 2.

instead of getting the SIM cards there at 450-500NTD x2 i assume?

From my experience for 2 person, tw sim card is unlimited 4G and wifi router is not unlimited 4G (will reduce to 3G or below). If you need to online very often, get sim card.

To me all are the same ...
but i bought the one from fareastone, quite good..
just that the one sold on qoo10, no calling credit
priced at $14, if use qoo10 coupon, manged to get at $11.20

read from people's blog, "Fareastone owns the most of 2600mHZ cellular towers which can support 3CA widely, the signal is also very stable,"
