Will be in Taiwan till August

Any recommendations on where to visit? Preferably places where locals frequent, not so much of tourist attractions.

I'm interested in their local culture and traditions :)

Edit: I'm staying in Taoyuan, don't mind traveling all over Taipei :o

It's walking distance from the Raohe Night Market. Definitely not worth just going for the bridge itself. It's pretty nice when it's dark. Go there before or after the night market. I usually will buy the food then go to the bridge there makan.
