Hi madcaps, this is what I did to the new chassis that I got,:

I was wondering any restriction, must we use pro chassis only or open to all types.. And still cracking my head over what else to do for that manta ray.. Still very unfamiliar with the new cars..

The tires should be blue, but i think vanquish bro change it to black...

Yupz.. Its suppose to be blue, I change it to light weight tires.. Need to do some weight reduction.. Great to hear its a open class race, still prefer to used older chassis like you guys..

quite poisoning...must resist...wonder if my old tera scorcher and avante still can run...lol....no one mod motor anymore? wind the motors with thinner wires...forgot liao...oh hoh oh....less winds = higher rpm less torque....

Yeah yeah.. Of course there are still people winding their own motors, as my friends and I are few of them.. And there are still 2 places able to play "fibre/metal"cars, which is at bukit bakot west Ave8, Blk156.. And near tampines central area too, both places play high speed cars..

I think you just had to refit it with the newer Ultra dash motor , maybe need to change the pinion gears and its good to go!

maybe also need to change new set of sponge tyres also... doesnt seem to be in good condition already...

Yeah.. when to the race... it was fun!


I was there around 3 pm.. abit late but there is still crowd...

Basically , this time round is a technical track.. 2 wave and the crossing bridge... First killer..

The next killer is the mini humps..

This is how my car looks like after the race... Damage: lost one set of bearings..

I think the old school setup still rulez... lots of "uncles" still using their old setup and it performed pretty good...
