Tamiya Mini 4WD anyone?

Hi i think non of the above mention shop can buy their goods from tamiya directly coz tamiya only sell to singapore via stargek. In fact some of the shop i know also get their goods from stargek coz it make sense as they can save on shipping. However some shops never get from stargek and they self import from overseas but not from tamiya in japan. If you looking to get common stuff and cars, then stargek is the best place coz they carry the most variety thou its in the east. price wise is good when they have 20%. if for convenience sake, some shops sells the same stuff at same price and you can get it near your neighbourhood. but in terms of variety,you be disappointed sometimes. as for limited edition goods, i think certain shop will have as they self import coz tamiya japan will not sell to stargek as it is jdm only...just like cars. certain cars japanese very selffish they only make for their own people so we got to import in ourselves. Cool down guys... we are all enthusiasts of this hobby.. lets be friendly...

Anyway.. some pics from the Sunday's (29/11/09) Stargek race at Toa Payoh Kiddy palace...

I must say there is quite a crowd there.(maybe school holiday?)

There is two tracks there last Sunday.. one is for the junior race..

And the main track...

The 2 slope curvy thingy... is totally the brake killer!!

Pretty cool setup i must say, but totally not suitable for ms pro chassis...(maybe have not found ways to stabilized it) I see many people switched back to the old VS chassis after a couple of tries with their MS pro...

but Hatsune Miku car ...must buy from Japan Auction.

MOON SPEEDZ is having mini 4wd competition at 19 december 2009 from 4.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Setting up the biggest track for Moon Speedz. Up to 7 prizes to be won away. Best design/decoration of car/cover will be receiving a prize from MOON SPEEDZ. $1 per try and only sanyo battery is allowed to used. For more info about the prize, Kindly head down to the nearest tamiya shop to view the prize list. Notification have already passed to AMK, Serangoon, Hougang, Tampines authorise Tamiya dealer shop.

REMEMBER TAMIYA RULES APPLIED . Any size of tires are allowed. Organiser have the right to disqualified you if you dun meet the requirement.

Hi all

On 20th december 2009 the will be the grand finals of the malaysia mini4wd championship 09.
It will be held in Stargek Malaysia. There will be a race for non qualifiers so all are welcomed.
Official Tamiya rules will be used and its a knockout format .So its as close as a Tamiya Official race in Japan.

Hope Uncle Tamiya can come over

Hi, it seems like mini 4wd is coming back, thats great!! Saw the shop at amk set up a track there, got me tempted. Now I'm playing it back again. Anyway, anyone know where to buy cheap tamiya 3 lane track?? Can be other brand like I heard people talking about Nine production or the one tokomini4wd sells. I only remember like 6-8 years ago got one tamiya uncle tell me he bought 3 circuits for only 200. I know tokomini4wd sells for 100 per set, add in shipping will probably cost a lot more. Anyone know elsewhere to get cheap circuits?

bro, you want two lane track that have hole and laptimer in J west got sell. I can show you the shop. Now i looking for 3 lane track to replace my 6 sets of two lane. Once i gather enough 3 lane sets, i will let go of my over 10yrs old 2 lane tracks haha. Sorry yesterday quite busy to set up track. Meet u again for void deck racing.

ANY stuff can be used to deco ur cars. Exp. putting light on cars, or maybe put some music in ur cars, have an outsanding cover. glue carrtoon character on your cover. etc.. Bro u should have great ideas right? u can even do a circuit board or install chip to put on your car to make the whole car lighted up. you IT trained, i bet u have better idea den me. you guys also can go to japan website to take a look at their decoration mini 4wd car.
