Old Singapore makes me nostalgic. Sometimes I think of the good old days when my sec sch friends would roam around bugis area. Now grow up and grow distant. No one bother to arrange meet up. Meet up also nothing to say because our lives have diverge too far.

At one point, the sogo building got cinema. Take the escalator up is a bit scary because u see the cafe from like 5th storey to the ground floor. After cinema gg, a billard/pool and lan shop took over the whole area

Last time all 3 malls not built up yet. Only interchange.

Quite ulu but really serene.

tampines is nice, a safe place, and a slower pace life compare to central

during the time i moved (rent) from central to tampines, can easily see ppl there has slower life pace

also can see many Singaporeans live there, especially the young adults

normally hard to find a town with many young adults Singaporean congregate or live together

Thanks for tip. Tried them once in evening. Not much variety left so not quite impressed with the food that day.

Will try again since I like Nasi padang.

back when sinkapore wasn't flooded with foreigners, going around places was so much more pleasant.

not everywhere is overcrowded on weekends
