I can tell you, I have lived in Tampines all my life. Our estate used to have repainting twice a year. I can't remember when the repainting has happened.
Basketball courts are run down, playgrounds are not repaired and the worst, sewage is very very bad, when it rains, the place floods in a few minutes.
Things were not like that when Ong Kian Min was in charge. My area had the best upgrading and such.
That aside, I went to him for help before and he took time to sit down with me and ask me how he can help.
This Baey Yam Keng, don't know what the hell he's been doing the past 4 years.
And tbh, the whole Nisha and IDA came to a very unsatisfactory resolution for me. As education minister, I felt Heng Swee Keat should have spoken up - the value of our degree is afterall at stake.
