What are you looking for ? No expectations a bit hard for people to comment. Their usage and expectations may vary from yours.

IMHO.
I do not have and have not use this lens before.
For super zooms, the sharpness decreases when the focal length increases.
For the Tamron, at 400mm, the useable sharpness would be at f/11, f/16 and f/22. ( See link on MTF )

You can do a lens on body comparison at Dxomark.
You can also use DxO Photolab to make improvements especially if you body/lens is supported.
