About 7 hours, 8 if you are slow driver.

Nice place, take full board otherwise the bills will add up.

Better drive. The nearest town is Dungun, which is not well-served by public transport. It is bypassed on the Kuala Trengganu-JB coach route.

Believe that u are familiar Trengganu. Which bus terminal is popular n in busy town?

Are you talking about Kuala Terengganu? There is only 1 bus terminal: Kuala Terengganu Express Bus Terminal.

Btw, where is a good place for a night stop instead of driving direct to Tanjong Jara.

An obvious stopover is at Kuantan. On your return you can stop at Segamat.
