Uber is cheaper based on 95.99% of my rides.

No grab in taiwan.

Geo-fencing on Uber.
Not all county allow Uber.
In your app, it will block the use based on GPS location.

I was in Miaoli in December, i was stuck when uber unable get a ride, as the option is grey-ed out. I had to download the taxi app.
In taipei and taichung, no such problem.

The taxi fare in most parts of Taipei is generally the same, except for suburb or mountain areas. All taxi service in Taipei charges by meter and the minimum charge is NT$70. Take note!

Their taxi is more exp than Sg~ I remember from taoyuan airport to XMD, the taxi fare was around s$45 for a 35min ride~ when went back airport, it was close to s$50~
