Is it expensive?

My fren say from Airport go pratunam only about 200baht+/-. But my side at the taxi counter quoted me 450baht. Why got so much difference de? Fast time go thailand. And one can advise me? Or share your cab experience.

i usually from airport go sukhumvit area, my hotel there, cost me 360 baht.... including toll

The jam here is terribe sia =x

i took taxi from DMK to pratunam, taxi guy quoted me 350 baht and went by small roads.

when i return from pratunam to DMK, the taxi went by metered fare. Was about 160 baht + 60 baht toll fees (expressway).
