Condo security mostly lao ah pek, any taiji they walk oso cannot catch up one.

All the security at condos is sibeh wayang. Singapore is really safe enough. I think the only use of the guard is to prevent outsiders from sneaking in and using condo facilities.

All the security at condos is sibeh wayang. Singapore is really safe enough. I think the only use of the guard is to prevent outsiders from sneaking in and using condo facilities.

They are more like a concierge with some authority to enforce rules. You will appreciate them when you have neighbours misbehaving but don't want to deal with them yourself.

There's a high profile socialite i know, easily worth 200m++ with a portfolio of over 20condos.
I asked her driver, whom worked for her for over 2 decades, why she never buy gcb.
The answer was that she feels condo more secure.
She stays at ardmore area, 5k++sq feet condo, which shows that she definitely have the means, but took a personal choice to stay condo.
Of course, thats not a normal condo.
But then again, when do you hear about burglaries in condos? Almost never.
