Just off the cuff, I'd say go with co A because they give you activated win10 pro and Dark Rock 4. Cheaper also.

I also agree with @fir_nev. Have you considered the new Ryzens? The reviews are quite positive.

I managed to "build" the following aftershock pc for bout 3.5k but you can prolly get better prices elsewhere.

WARRANTY (DESKTOP) : 3 Years Parts Warranty (1st Year Onsite Pickup and Return)
CASE OPTIONS (ZEAL, SHADOW) : BEQUIET PURE BASE 500DX (High Airflow Low Noise Chassis) (White)
Motherboard (Premium Range) : For AMD - GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ELITE
CPU (High Performance Desktops) : AMD RYZEN 7 5800X | 4.7 GHZ | 8 Cores 16 Threads
GRAPHICS CARD : Premium ATX Range : ZOTAC RTX 3070 OC TWIN EDGE 8GB
THERMAL COMPOUND : Premium Enthusiast Grade Thermal Compound
RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY (RAM) (DESKTOP) : 32GB Klevv BOLT X 3600 Mhz (16x2)
CPU COOLING SYSTEM (Desktop) : WATERCOOLING : AFTERSHOCK Spectra Glacier 360mm
Primary Solid State Drive (NVME | M.2 | DESKTOP) : 1TB SAMSUNG NVME SSD (R: 3500 | W: 3000)
First Hard Drive (Optimal Series) : 2TB TOSHIBA 7200RPM HDD
CHASSIS FANS : BEQUIET Pure Wings 140mm (Stealth Fans, Silent) X 3

Company B seems to be a little more expensive and has no Wins activated which will likely increase the costs further.
Good thing seems to be that Samsung SSD though but you get a Gen 4 NVME.
I think you will be in good hands with Company A.
Not too sure abt the stock situation for the new Ryzen but anyways the old one is also ok if the pricing gap is too big.

I honestly think you can skip the Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler fan to reduce the cost even further. if you choose company A. Ryzen 7 3700X comes with a stock cooler. imo 2TB NVMe gen 4.0 SSD is insane as it is expensive to me. I will suggest you to get a 1TB NVMe gen 4.0 SSD for working files and a 1TB NVMe gen3.0 or SATA SSD for backup instead for cheaper price. but of course if you can afford then go ahead

Win 10 activated used for cheating noobs.

Agreed. System builders use OEM license they purchased it in bulk and try to value it at retail license price since a lot of people don't know the differences that OEM licenses are locked to the motherboard and it's a one-time use as compared to retail licenses which can be transferred to a different system pretty much indefinitely.

Can you share what is company A?

A most likely monsterpc , ask him to remove Win 10 cost , he will tell you no more onsite warranty.

B definitely aftershock

Should just top up a bit for 3080 and 5900x 😂

https://www.aftershockpc.com/welcome/rts_details/3549

Intel Core i9 10900KF 10th Gen Processor
GIGABYTE Z490 Gaming X Motherboard
16GB ADATA SPECTRIX D50 3600mhz RGB Memory(8x2)
AFTERSHOCK GLACIER 340mm AIO ARGB Watercooler
ZOTAC RTX 3080 TRINITY OC 10GB
1TB SAMSUNG NVME M.2 SSD R:3500 W:3000
NZXT 750W GOLD Modular PSU (C750)
3 X Bequiet Large Silent Fans, 3 x Stealth Fans
GIGABYTE AORUS AX Wifi6 + Bluetooth 5.0
BEQUIET DX500 Chassis (Black)
3 Years Warranty (1st Year Onsite)
Free Marvel's Avengers Game
Free Call Of Duty Cold War Game

$2950 can get top of the line Intel I9 and 3080. That's still cheaper than the $3k quoted for Company B. Just top up $150 for 32GB Ram.

$100 more over the 3700X and 3070 can get i9 and 3080.

It’s amazing that I would say this, and all my previous PCs were intel..
But 5900x would eat the 10900kf for Bfast. 😂
