Recently I purchased the Tecware Core Mini for a HTPC build (https://www.tecware.co/core-mini). It was a cheap case to accommodate my old CPU. I just wanted to share my 2c as I could not find many reviews.

Inside I have installed a 2200G (TDP 65W) with Asrock Fatal1ty B450i board.

The PSU came with the case. It is a TFX sized block rated at 250W with "typical efficiency" >80% .

The 2200G is at stock settings with original Wraith Stealth cooler.

The front just has power, reset button, two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port. No type C port.

The case can accommodate up to an mATX board, and either a 60mm or 80mm case fan on the front panel only.

Here is a photo of the case. Sorry about the cable management (I did not want to neaten it up before testing). Along the front panel is my AVC DA06010B12U 6010 case fan mounted as intake. This fan has specs 24.78CFM, 45Pa Static Pressure. My motherboard says the the RPM maxes out at 6700. It is super loud at this speed.

No rear case fan, but the PSU intakes air from around the CPU and ejects it from the rear.

The case can accommodate an LP card, but I'm not sure what the temps will be like.

Running prime95 for 20 minutes with front case fan disabled, with ambient temperature around 29'C and humidity 80%, the max temperature was 95.2'C. The CPU did not thermally shut down for whatever reason. The top of the case gets hot. This is as it should be as the case is metal.

Ramping up the front case fan from 0 to 100% at exactly 90'C did not perceptibly change the CPU temp. Even at idle (around 55'C) the front case fan made no difference. So I have disabled it for now for up to CPU temp 75'C, and will run it at minimum PWM (26%) just to keep the lower part of the case (SSD) a bit cooler. Maybe later I will take it out entirely.

Maybe a more powerful fan, e.g. an 8038 fan with static pressure of 250Pa might make a difference.

This case relies entirely on the CPU fan for cooling. Luckily there is an intake vent right in front of the CPU fan.

In general I am satisfied with the case. I think it might do well for an APU build. For LP GPU maybe it might work with a more powerful intake fan.
