Wats yr CDS?

I hate 8/9am classes, have to wake up so early.

And u so suay, got 2 days of 5hrs break juz to wait for 1 hr lec to end the day. This reminds me of last sem where I start the day at 8am to 11am, and got 7hrs break before my CDS lecture at 6pm.

yea man 5 hours is long man.
but i think its still better than my last sem, having 3 hrs only. 5 hrs can go home rest longer.

Hey guys some advise needed. My batch actually have to take 2 CDS in one semester. And i was unlucky enough to kenna Japanese and French together in one semester.

1. Since both are already tough modules, I plan to change one. Anyone knows anything about Water Technology? Easy or hard? Now I certainly don't care about "interest" or "usefulness" anymore since I have such a terrible schedule where I have to go home at 6pm on 3 days and taking 2 foreign languages in one semester, I only wish someone to point me out to a CDS that is NOT so hard to get an average B or C without going through hell.

2. Anyone done the add/drop selection thingie before (changing CDS) ? Do you just submit the form? Are there actually lecturers there to answer your queries or something. Are there any methods of ensuring you end up in the same class as your classmates who chose the same cds?

I took Jap last sem and got a B+ (Kinda relax & fun if you know something about jap)
- 3min Culture Presentation (10%)
- MCQ Test on Culture & Language (30%)
- MCQ Test on Listening (30%)
- Group Role Play Presentation (30%)

As for Water Tech, my friend said got 2 Term Test and he got a B. The rest i not sure about the details.

UIR is not offered this sem. maybe they abolished it

1. 2 languages are tough man. but u can always drop and appeal for others. may i ask why ur year must take 2?

2. yes there is a place where u fill up a form, then there will be lecturer answering to your queries. in your case u can give them your reason. personally i think 2 languages are tough to handle. but there is no way to confirm or ensure a place with your friend in the same cds. i tried last sem. couldnt get it done.

fsphere or anyone else, if I know of a tutorial class slot for my CDS where the class also happens not to be full (yet) and of course fits into my time table perfectly, are there any way to request for that class? Any idea?

I read from earlier threads that you can actually go to your CM directly for this and he will sign something, but my CM is also like the deputy director of the school. Kind of an overkill to find him for meeting the needs of an individual student Anyone know of any ways?

i think go to your CM got high chance of ur appeal being approve since he is a big shot.
