Anyone got any temple to recommend for my bangkok trip?
Going sept second week, Sunday to Tuesday.
Other than Grand Palace, any other temple to recommend ?
How much is the entrance fees?

I recommend wat ratchbopit. it's a small temple with a school in it. You can just wander around and you'll see monks going about doing their daily activities, very authentic and non-touristy. It's kind of near grand palace/wat pho so you can do it on the same day.

You can also visit Wat Arun which is also a short walk from Wat pho. In the evening, the sunset/evening view is very nice.

Not those touristy type of temple, no need to pay entrance fee.

If you going to Grand Palace then can go Wat Pho(Sleeping Buddha temple) as well. Just beside only. After Wat Pho can go to nearby jetty take a boat cross river and visit Wat Arun.

Besides paying homage to the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha in Wat Pho, Wat Pho has a secret weapon, the thai massage is number one! After Wat Pho, go Wat Arun, Wat Rakang (Somdej), and Wat Suthat (Phra Kring).

for the dead yes go here. for the living you can donate at a chinese temple at one end of the chinatown. it is for their hospital and hospice.
