would like to get some quotes for Term Plans. The following are my requirements:

- cover for death + CI + TPD
- min. 300k sum assured
- cover till 80 or life (if there is any)

Im 24 next year, female, non smoker.

Qn: will premium increase after every age band or the premium is 'locked in' at the age that I bought?

Pm you with the quote.

Ans: Yup. the premium will be lock in on the age you purchase. it will not increase due to age..

Level premium term, yes. This means premium won't increase over the years.

Guaranteed premium, no. This means the insurer can increase the premium if claim rate is high.

Then, relax because this is standard in the insurance industry.

Age Next Birthday: 24 Date: 12/11/2013
Sex: Female Foreigner: No
Smoker: No Resident: Yes

Plan: Supreme Living Term Plan Code: 0656
Sum Assured: $ 300,000
Annual Premium: $ 1,044.00 (M:$89.60 Q:$268.85 H:$532.45)
Policy Term: 56 Years
Payable For: 56 Years

$89.60 a month for Great Eastern's Supreme Living Term

As what you asked, premium is level term, ie the same throughout the 56 years but it's not guaranteed.

If you are looking for cheaper, wait for quotes from others here.

EDITED:
p.s. I would rather you insure for 41 years at $74.45 premium monthly. Save the $15/month on something else as $300k is going to become so much "smaller" later.

$74.45 for $300k sum assured? Why become smaller..? Inflation?

Yes, inflation.

This is why my concept of term insurance is usually becoming "self insured" after 65, with the exception of shield plan forever.
