Hi guys, is it possible to terminate Singtel's plan when it is still running?
It is still running but the contract period is already over and I have the option to re-contract.
But I want to terminate.

Do I just call Singtel and say that I want to terminate it's plan?

Thanks.

I just called Singtel to say that I want to terminate my bundle plan.
They said only can cancel internet which is already expired, tv need to wait till december until plan is expired.

I called the second time to say that I want to debundle my homeline because I am doing a Number Porting to switch to another telco.

Now they said cannot cancel /debundle because internet is tied to TV. And cannot debundle homeline unless terminate plan. Need to wait until all plans over then can cancel or else do early termination.

Anyone can advise me with this?

Once contract over of course can terminate. Better find a new isp first.

my starhub broadband contract ending oct 13, also planning to switch to better deals. but note that currently there is this capacity issue going on.

when u switch isp, most likely need to open port 2. must check if ur block / area got sufficient capacity, thats the pain point. might have downtime.

No la. Honestly such capacity issue is rare unless you are very unlucky as port 2 has already been activated automatically by Netlink Trust when they upgrade the cable in the neighborhooding areas. Upgrading is still in progress for some areas. Which area are you located and since when did they first installed the TP? Is the TP installed during the initial period when they offer it to you for free?

They will go down just to read the meter to see whether the signal is stable. Then your ONT will be installed a few days later. Unlikely to have such issue.

You are on home entertainment plan? If your TV is standalone then you can terminate internet and keep the tv until contract end. It does not make sense because if it is bundle together the internet contract ended the TV contract also ended. Please check your bill to see whether it is bundle together. If TV still under contract, you can ask them to put the Tv as standalone. The phone can be standalone too.

I'm on home entertainment plan. Internet is expired, but tv hasn't.
I have this tv combo plan that I've added.
They said cannot terminate one by one, need to terminate all.
If want to do number porting, need to wait till tv ends to terminate plan. Or do early termination...

That meant that the internet and standard family+ Tv has already ended but because you have add a tv combo plan earlier so have to wait till it expire.
Sorry to say actually Singapore pay Tv is quite boring and I will usually take the basic just for my kid to watch.
