A test of its 50 day moving average would not surprise me. It will be interesting to see how it does there. I would buy a rebound from the 50D if it occurs.

The 50 day moving average beckons which is a key support area for a big liquid institutional favourite stock like Tesla. Break below it and it becomes a short entry. Tesla looks to be building a big base as 11 weeks have passed since its breakout at around $900. If it goes below its 50 day, next support level is at $1,000 and then $900. If it falls below $900, I take that as a very bearish sign as Tesla is like a tentpole for the market.

yes i think so.
like rui ming says, volatility is a feature and not bug for high growth companies.

Personally as a swing trader, I love volatility followed by some islands of calmness with quiet trading volume which tends to precede the next big move in liquid stocks like Tesla. This works both ways for me long and short. The way I would trade TSLA now is take quick shorts (1-2 days) if it fails each support level. I would also look for rallies up into prior support levels which becomes resistance now and short it if it reverses from those levels. For long trades, I would be looking at the indices showing signs of flattening and looking for an undercut of a prior low - this tends to correspond with similar undercut and rallies happening for big liquid stocks like Tesla.

I think its more of macro environment , interest rate fear
That's why the big boys fake pump.. If real pump it will chiong above previous high.. Anyway they are smarter then most of us.. They wun waste the money... After a major drop where all the weak hands got out.. Then is easier to push up.. Few days back I already 100% cash.. Now see market eat pop corn only. Day trades abit here and there.

They protect until 500k only right? If brokerage go bankrupt
I think so, you can have a few more reputable brokerage to put your eggs at different basket.
Unless your trade size is >500k per trade, I dont see a compelling reason to use local brokerage.
I believe there is a thread on brokerage somewhere
