wah, tsla price keep dropping, afternoon $538 ,now $508.

what's the correct way?haha, thats the wrong way to view it
Is 5 bil a typo? That's like 1% of Tesla's market cap.
On September 1, 2020, Tesla, Inc. (“Tesla”) entered into an equity distribution agreement (the “Equity Distribution Agreement”) with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, BofA Securities, Inc., Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, SG Americas Securities, LLC, Wells Fargo Securities, LLC and BNP Paribas Securities Corp., as sales agents (each, a “Sales Agent” and collectively, the “Sales Agents”), to sell shares of common stock, of Tesla (the “Common Stock”) having aggregate sales proceeds of up to $5.0 billion (the “Shares”), from time to time, through an “at-the-market” offering program (the “Offering”).
ITS HERE...
dilution ouch
can Elon's meme power support the tesla share price.![]()
can't count like that.....coz as they keep selling....
prices will keep falling unless got people continue to buy.
if people stop buying....and they keep selling....
each share will will be sold for lesser and lesser but the $5b figure remains.
I know how an offering works lah.
But i'm curious what is the "correct way" to look at it though? Not all offerings are automatically bad, you know that right?
The way i see it, it's a smart move playing on the split hype to do it. Can build a whole new gigafactory solely through this offering alone. What's so bad about more cash for even faster growth?
My point being, it's inevitable that there will be a major correction sooner or later after a +70% run since the last consolidation period, but it definitely won't be due to the offering, because it hardly matters (1% dilution).

when it comes to tesla.....there is no "correct way" to look at it.
it can only go up.![]()
it is going down $19 now!!!
it is going down $19 now!!!

It will just rest a day or 2 before shooting up again. Buy..
