put in stop loss

in this kind of situation, it calls for diamond hands instead

the IV is so high right now that if you are taking profit, covered call is not a bad idea. 4 dec 600c should have around $8-15 premium at least :s22:

yes I know, I always love covered call.

Why not? They had a preview of their highway driving with lane changing ability and I was quite impressed. As a driver I would have also made that particular decision to filter out past a slower heavy vehicle.

Chinese can do software anytime if they want to. Just because it might be in their native language doesn’t mean they can’t do a good or better job.

btw does nio have software like developing FSD?
or is nio only hardware EV?

Software programming has no direct relationship on one native language, the logical thinking is more important and for the subject of FSD, it involves deep learning which is a field in the machine learning .

In this area, one need to have a good combination of HW and machine learning firmware (visual AI).

TESLA is winning in this area, as they design their own multi arrays processor that are tailored made or optimized for this FSD processing.

China weak link is in the semiconductor processing part (fabrication of custom processor with advanced sub-10 nm processing). And this is also the weapon USA used to clamp China and Russia.

yes NIO/Xpev can use Nvidia chipset for the AI processing however the HW +FW still can't match Tesla.

From China EV end,I think XPEV FSD is ahead of NIO. a strong competitor to TESLA.

but in terms of china competition, who is ahead on the software side? in comparision with xpev and li?

lets not kid ourselves, the CCP will never allow tesla to dominate the EV market
to give an example, theres incentives from CCP if u have swappable battery. All chinese EV have this feature except tesla

tesla is like apple, used to nudge local to be competitive to remove inefficiency but never allowed to become big ever

if nio is ahead on the software, then its the chinese tesla

Was it Morgan Stanley that gave it a price target of 540/560? Didn't expect it to be crushed so quickly...

Tesla found support around low 400s after the realisation that it would not be added into Sp500. Now that it is, who knows.. Maybe 600 by 30th Nov, and when the funds buy it will be more insane.

In term of software innovation, XPEV is stronger than NIO. You can see that the Xpev share price is overtaking NIO due to the recent FSD showcase with lidar .
NIO is going after premium market.

Xpev could be a threat to Tesla which is offering very similar features to compete, like samsung trying to match Apple offer..

China Tesla-≥ XPEV . Xpev Kena a few lawsuits of stealing codes, if stepping out of China may get more IP infringement problem.

Li is going after affordability. In long run may do well just like Toyota, no wow factor but selling well.
